Hey I'm Kate, the creator behind our unique range of artisan car fresheners, luxury wax melts and Reed diffusers.
At Hunter and Walker, we believe fragrance is more than just scent; it’s a statement. An expression of your style that restores calm to a space that is entirely yours, whether that’s your living room or the inside of your car.
Our reputation was built on luxury wax melts. Refined, plant-based, and designed to deliver sophisticated, layered fragrance that lasts. Alongside them, we’ve introduced our newest innovation: the Fragrance Halo® car perfume, created to bring that same quality and reliability to your drive.
The Story Behind Hunter and Walker
Nothing says Welcome! like being greeted with a stunning fragrance as the front door opens and that’s what our customers experience. Hunter and Walker was born out of a passion for quality and the frustration of products that didn’t live up to their promise.
Before Hunter and Walker, I was often disappointed with home fragrance that lacked longevity or smelled synthetic. That experience became my motivation to create scented products that were complex and truly lasted. Starting with home fragrance, and now extending to car fresheners too.
My journey began in 2021 when I attended a candle-making course at the renowned Old Bexley Soap and Candle Company run by the wonderful Paula. I discovered the art of combining wax and fragrance. A skill that’s scientifically more complex than it appears. After months of testing and refining, I created the first products that met my high standards.

Testing for Lasting Scent and Strength
Our testing process is detailed and deliberate. For wax melts, we experiment with different strengths because maximum concentration is not always best when using oils developed by perfume experts. Each fragrance is tested across different wax warmers multiple times to ensure it performs as intended in real homes.

- Longevity: How many hours of fragrance each melt provides.
- Consistency: How the fragrance holds up over time.
- Customer feedback: Real homes testing samples before launch.

Sustainability Practices
Hunter and Walker is committed to sustainability with ethical and responsible sourcing of raw materials.
Our coconut and rapeseed wax blend is certified organic by the Soil Association and Ecocert, vegan-friendly, Kosher, Halal, GMO-free, phthalates-free, and paraben-free.
Our wax melts are cruelty-free and packaged using recyclable glassine bags, with mica powders that are ethically sourced or man-made.
The Fragrance Halo® car perfumes are made using Halo Pearls™ from a factory that utilises bio-circular balanced and renewable energy manufacturing processes. Each one is sealed in compostable, plant-based wrappers to keep fragrance fresh without waste.

The Fragrance Halo® is designed to change the way you think about car fragrance. Using highly absorbent Halo Pearls™ that lock in up to 30% of their weight in fragrance. They deliver over eight weeks of long-lasting complex scent.
The dry-touch design eliminates the risk of messy oil leaks, and the adjustable cord keeps it secure and distraction-free while driving. It’s a refined fragrance you can trust, wherever the road takes you.
Luxury Wax Melts
Our wax melts remain at the heart of Hunter and Walker. Using sustainable coconut and rapeseed wax, each one features our signature mica powder designs, botanicals, and crystals applied entirely by hand. Every melt is tested for complex, sophisticated fragrance that lasts.
