Scent strength is such a personal preference. To help you choose with confidence, we've added a simple intensity guide from the most pronounced (A) through to the most delicate (E)

You can make adjustments to the strength at home by using fewer reeds, or flipping them more or less often. The room choice will also make a big difference; The smaller and/or warmer the room, the more intense the scent will appear.

Safety and care

Wipe any spills immediately and make sure the base of the bottle is dry before placing it back down.
Diffuser oil can damage painted or wooden surfaces.
Keep away from open flames and electrical sources.
Keep away from children and pets at all times.
Wear gloves when flipping the reeds and wash hands thoroughly after contact with diffuser liquid.
Not for consumption or use on skin. Retain all packaging. If irritation occurs after handling, seek medical advice.

How to use your luxury diffuser

Remove the reeds and unscrew the silver cap.
Carefully push out the bottle cap liner straight into a bin.
Screw the cap back on and place the reeds into the bottle.
After five minutes, flip the reeds to help the fragrance begin dispersing.
Take care that no petals fall onto your counter and wipe up any spills immediately.
Always wear gloves and wash your hands after flipping reeds.

How many reeds should I use?

Every diffuser is supplied with 7 reeds but scent strength is a very personal choice.
We recommend starting with 4-5 reeds in a very small or warm room such as a downstairs toilet.
Hallways and entrances will likely need 7 reeds as there is much more air movement.
But starting with less reeds to test your specific area is always better than having to remove some later if it's too strong.

Can I use fewer reeds?

Yes of course. Using fewer reeds gives a lighter scent and will make the diffuser last longer.

Where should I place my diffuser?

Place your diffuser away from windows and strong draughts. Especially sills with curtains or blinds that could knock the diffuser over if the window is open.
We recommend using a ceramic coaster underneath the diffuser to protect the counter surface.
Avoid placing near radiators and direct sunlight, as heat will make the oil diffuse faster.
Keep away from children and pets.
Always make sure the base of the bottle is dry and free of any oil before setting it down.

Will a diffuser fill my room with fragrance?

Reed diffusers give gentle, consistent fragrance rather than strong bursts.
Think of them like a bouquet of flowers: They scent the space around them beautifully, and you’ll notice the fragrance as you move past or as air circulates.
They’re perfect for entrances, hallways, bathrooms and toilets, but won’t fill a large open-plan space.
For a stronger room-filling scent, wax melts are a better choice.

How often should I flip the reeds?

Approximately once a week or anytime you feel the scent has faded.

Flipping the reeds will boost the scent, but also use up the fragrance oil quicker. - Only flip when necessary.

How long will my diffuser last?

Each 100g diffuser provides scent for up to 6 weeks.

Please be aware the longevity will vary greatly dependant on the ambient room temperature.

Small rooms with large radiators will produce a stronger scent throw, but reduced life span during the colder months when central heating is used more often.

We recommend using less reeds in small or very warm rooms to slow the diffusion rate. Start with less and you can always add more reeds.
