How can I stop mosquitoes from biting me?
1) Add 1 - 2 pieces of Citronella wax melt in your wax warmer.
2) Locate it close to where you're sitting in the garden to allow the insect-repelling qualities to give you the most protection.
3) Now use 2-4 incense sticks as an extra outer barrier. Our citronella-scented incense will compliment your wax melt fragrance, but insects hate any smouldering incense, so if you run out, feel free to use any scent
And that's it! - You're ready to enjoy the outdoors in peace! Ideally, start melting your wax 10 minutes before sitting outside.

A lot of mass-produced products with citronella for the garden only contain a tiny amount of citronella fragrance and very little PMDs. These aren't going to do anything to repel insects!

- Set up your wax warmer on a stable, heat-proof surface away from children and pets.
- Use 1-2 sections of snap bar (Approx 10-20g) in the wax warmer with an unscented 4-hour tealight.
- Place incense sticks (using heat-resistant holders) around the perimeter of your seating area. 2-3 should be adequate. Light the tip of the incense then gently blow out the flame. It will glow red and then create a powerful outer barrier as it begins to smoulder.
- Charge your glass, sit back and relax!

YES! The wax melts, warmer and incense are all safe to use indoors.
We recommend starting with half the usual amount of wax if used indoors. They are specifically made stronger than normal.

We recommend using when there's little to no breeze so the amazing benefits don't blow away!
However, if the tealight keeps blowing out then it's unlikely you're at much risk from insects as they struggle to fly in wind.

We don't recommend you use an electric warmer outdoors. In addition to the numerous safety hazards, an electric warmer is unlikely to get hot enough to provide an adequate scent throw outdoors compared to a tealight warmer.

You can continue to reheat your wax melt until the fragrance is all gone.
We recommend using 1-2 segments and only ever with a 4-hour tealight to avoid overheating your warmer.

The Terracotta Wax Warmer weighs 237g and is H11cm x 10cm dia at its widest point on the base.
The Citronella incense pack weighs 27g including the packaging. (15g Net) and is W21.7cm x L4.1 x H1.9cm
Safety: Keep out of reach of children & pets. Keep incense and candles away from flammable materials and substances. Hot ash will fall from the incense. Never move whilst hot or with liquid wax inside. Never leave unattended or fall asleep whilst using. Fully extinguish candles and incense before retiring for the evening. If your wax warmer is left outside between uses, ensure it is clean and dry and always check for damage before re-using. Wax warmers are NOT frost-resistant. Never over-fill the warmer. NEVER add water to a wax warmer. Retain all packaging. In cases of ingestion; Seek immediate emergency medical advice.

Absolutely brilliant and smells gorgeous I do use it with the incense sticks . We have a lot of gnats and small flies (near by standing water.

I loved the natural citronella set, the scent is not artificial like many shop brought products, it was refreshing and effective! We used it both indoors when we had the windows open and outside during the mosquito season! Like all Hunter and Walker products you really feel you are getting top quality natural scents.
